Yin & Vinyasa Yoga at Hochschober

Sometimes all it takes is a calm breath, a wide view of the mountains – and a yoga mat. In March, New York yoga teacher Wesley Bassett brings a special combination of Yin and Vinyasa yoga to Hochschober.

From March 8 to 13, 2026, she invites you to an inspiring yoga week that combines strength, flexibility and inner calm.

The Power of the Core

The focus of this week lies on the core center of our body – the muscles around the abdomen and lower back. Strengthening this area supports the spine, improves balance and creates a deeper sense of inner stability.

The yoga practice follows a harmonious rhythm:

  • Morning: calm Yin sessions that create space, stretch muscles and fascia, and gently open the body.
  • Afternoon: more dynamic Yang sequences that build strength and awaken new energy.

Meditation, somatic movements and conscious breathing accompany the practice and help you deepen your awareness.

For Beginners and Experienced Practitioners

The yoga week is suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. With different variations, everyone can practice at their own pace and deepen their individual yoga journey.

The number of participants is intentionally limited to ensure a personal and relaxed atmosphere.

Yoga, Nature and a Restorative Break

Between the yoga sessions there is plenty of time to enjoy the special surroundings of the Turracher Höhe:
a swim in the heated lake pool, quiet moments in the hamam, or a walk through the fresh mountain air.

This week beautifully combines movement, relaxation and nature – a restorative retreat for body and mind.
