For those who enjoy swimming indoors, we have an indoor pool in our hotel by the lake in Austria. A wonderful place for swimming enthusiasts is the heated See-Bad, open all year round and measuring 25 meters in length. Kick back and unwind in the rock pool or dip into one of the three outdoor whirlpools. The choice is yours: swimming, cold water therapy, or pure relaxation.
Every morning, sports enthusiasts gather for water aerobics. In the swimming hall, there are also two aroma grottos, lockable VIP showers, resting areas, and a Physiotherm infrared cabin.

So that your baby and/or children can become familiar with the element water as early and joyfully as possible, Hotel Hochschober regularly offers swimming courses.
For one week, the swimming instructor uses a specially developed 3-stage system with the little ones. The older ones can try mermaid swimming at the hotel by the lake.
Starting from the age of 4 months, your baby can participate in swimming lessons daily. The practice sessions should take place together with you or in the company of a familiar person to the child. The little ones are playfully introduced to the water and to the correct swimming position. The exercises primarily promote the innate "frog reflex" as well as overall motor skills and coordination.
Children with swimming experience receive tips at our hotel by the lake in Austria on how to improve their swimming technique and gain more confidence in the water. Beginner swimmers become familiar with the water and swimming movements, allowing them to gain swimming experience. There will be nothing stopping them in the next swimming season.

The Turracher See is beautiful, but also wonderfully cool. That's why Hotel Hochschober has a See-Bad, where the water is between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius all year round. So, whether in summer or winter, you can swim in pure lake water in the fresh air and enjoy the view.

For those who want to try cold water therapy or take an ice bath, Hotel Hochschober at Lake Turrach in Carinthia is ideal.
In addition to Lake Turrach, there are two other lakes for swimming: Lake Grünsee and Lake Schwarzsee. Water temperatures range from up to 20 degrees Celsius in summer to icy 2 degrees Celsius in winter.
Cold and ice bathing, provided you have a healthy heart, has many benefits: It invigorates the body, strengthens the immune system, and creates feelings of happiness.
