The Hammam of our wellness hotel on the Turracher Höhe, Carinthia, not only matches its models in the Orient in size but also in many loving details. The Turracher Lake is beautiful, but it's also quiet cool. That's why Hotel Hochschober features a Seebad, where the water is kept between 28 to 30 degrees Celsius all year round. This means you can swim in pure lake water in the fresh air, both in summer and winter, while taking in the view.

We have thoroughly curated every detail. The limewashed oak, meticulously crafted by carpenters from the Lavant Valley in Carinthia. The lampshades, handcrafted in Vienna. The view from most rooms and suites faces north towards Lake Turrach and the Nock Mountains. From the rooms located on the building’s side, you can see forests, sometimes even the lake. The rooms facing south overlook the Alpenpark and the green of the Swiss pine.

Vegan dining at the wellness hotel

Since the summer of 2013, Hotel Hochschober has been cooking vegan meals alongside its traditional and vegetarian dishes, making it one of the first hotels in Austria to do so. Vegan means free from animal protein and also gluten-free. Seasonal and regional products from trusted suppliers are at the heart of the menu, just like they are in the traditional cuisine.

The spa and fitness team will help you restore balance to your body. In the hotel library Wortreich, around 4,000 books are available as intellectual nourishment.
