Refined & cosy - the literature hotel Austria

In May 2010, Wortreich, the library with reading salon, opened. The rooms are pleasantly quiet and bright. There are comfortable loungers, armchairs, writing and reading spots by the window, side tables, wool blankets, bookends, an open fireplace, and the perfect lighting. Everything you need for truly enjoyable reading hours.

In the library of our literature hotel Austria, you can choose from more than 4,000 books. Among them are many favourites of the Leeb and Klein family, as well as books selected by literature experts. Here you will find works of world literature, entertainment, biographies, illustrated books, crime novels, science fiction and fantasy, poetry, English and Italian books, guidebooks, and non-fiction.

Readings & book presentations at the literature hotel Austria

The event series "Literatur am Berg" (Literature in the Mountains) presents well-known writers throughout the year. More excitement can be found during fireside chats in the Wortreich on the Turracher Höhe.
