At Hochschober, progress continues at a remarkable pace: In the fourth week of construction, structures are becoming clearly defined. Walls are in place, ceilings are nearing completion, and the first rooms are now tangible – a decisive step towards the finished space.
Particularly pleasing: All construction areas remain very well on schedule.
A key phase has been completed at the wellness extension: all side walls have now been erected. Internal walls for the sauna, lift and additional areas are also in place, allowing the layout and future flow of the space to become clearly visible.
At the same time, work on the ceiling has progressed significantly. Large sections have already been installed and concreted, with the remaining parts currently being finalised. The full ceiling is expected to be completed shortly, marking the transition to the next phase of construction.
At the new arena sauna, the construction is advancing day by day. The front section of the ceiling has been concreted, while along the retaining wall, steel reinforcements are already being installed.
The next steps are clearly defined: completing the remaining ceiling sections and continuing the concreting of the distinctive “wave” element, which will later shape the architectural character of this area.
Meanwhile, exterior works are also progressing: the outer walls are being flamed and sealed, and the gap between the rock face and the building near the Waldvilla is being filled with gravel to ensure long-term stability.
Construction of the staff residence continues to move forward. Utility lines from KELAG and district heating have been fully relocated and the trenches closed again.
At the same time, the basement and stairwell are being built and concreted. The geologist’s report has now been completed, providing the basis for the next steps: around 60 deep foundation piles will be installed to ensure structural stability under these specific ground conditions.
The fourth week of construction highlights how quickly progress is being made: what was recently groundwork is now evolving into clearly defined spaces. Thanks to precise planning and dedicated craftsmanship, all work continues to progress on schedule and at an excellent pace.
The coming days will see the completion of the ceiling, further structural work on the “wave,” and continued progress on the staff residence.
Step by step, a new place of wellbeing is taking shape at Hochschober – created with care, expertise and a clear vision for your future stay.
