An evening full of glamour, appreciation and joy: On 27 April, the TOURISM STAR AWARD was presented for the first time in the Orangery at Schönbrunn Palace – and Hotel Hochschober had the honour of receiving a very special award.

“Coziest Hotel of the Year”

With an impressive 97 out of 100 stars, Hotel Hochschober was named “Coziest Hotel of the Year” in the category “Excellence in Hospitality”. An award that stands not only for quality, but above all for what is lived every day at Hochschober: genuine warmth, heartfelt hospitality and a fine sense for the wellbeing of our guests.

A strong signal for tourism

The presentation of the TOURISM STAR AWARD by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy, and the Austrian National Tourist Office sends a strong signal: Tourism is far more than an economic factor. It connects people, creates encounters and remains a reliable constant, even in challenging times.

Hospitality is not something to be taken for granted – it is an attitude. One that combines innovation with tradition and is brought to life anew every single day.

A success carried by many

This award belongs to the entire Hochschober team. People from many nations, united by passion and dedication, make Hochschober the place it is: a place to arrive, breathe deeply and feel at ease.

Special thanks also go to the distinguished jury, who honoured our continuous development and quality over many decades.

Strong together

Warm congratulations also go to the Ronacher Thermal Spa Hotel and to the Hotel Forsthofgut, which won the main prize. It is inspiring to see how much innovative strength, quality and passion shape Austrian tourism.

We say thank you from our heart – for this award, for the trust of our guests, and for the many people who fill the Hotel Hochschober with life every day.
