Windows, Tiles and Great Attention to Detail
[Translate to Englisch:]

Underfloor heating, screed and tiling work

At the beginning of the week, the underfloor heating was completed and the screed was poured. At the same time, the tilers were able to continue their work quickly and efficiently. Especially in the entrance area and the sanitary facilities, it is already becoming clear how spacious and high-quality the new wellness area will feel in the future. Tiling work is also progressing visibly around the plunge pool and the relaxation areas.

Large glass fronts for more light and views

One of this week’s special milestones was the installation of the large glass fronts. The lower level of the new Arena Sauna is now fully fitted with windows. This noticeably changes the atmosphere on the construction site: light, views and a sense of space can now be experienced properly for the first time. The next windows for the upper level are expected to be delivered and installed in the coming days.

The relaxation room takes shape

Work is also progressing intensively in the future relaxation room, internally known as the “Sleeping Bag”. The new covers for the loungers were delivered and are already being fitted. At the same time, the framework of the relaxation room continues to grow, wooden flooring is being laid and the first design details already reveal how calm and cosy this area will feel in the future.

Technology, ceilings and carpentry work

Meanwhile, the technical work is also moving ahead quickly. Cable infrastructure, ceiling installations and carpentry work are continuing in parallel. In the sauna, the rear walls have been installed, the suspended ceiling has been prepared and the first interior construction work has begun. The artistically designed elements around the staircase and water feature are also taking more and more shape.

New paths at the Alpenstrand

Work has also begun on the new pathway around the Alpenstrand. The stairs to the sun deck and other connecting outdoor elements are also being created. Step by step, both inside and outside, a new place for warmth, peace and special Hochschober moments is growing.

Employee residence remains on schedule

Work is also progressing very well on the new employee residence opposite. The final piles have been installed, concrete work is running in shifts and the foundation slab is already taking shape. Particularly pleasing: despite the intensive work, this project also remains exactly on schedule.

Summary of the week: progress turns into anticipation

The construction site is currently changing visibly almost every day. Many areas no longer feel like shell construction, but already like the wellbeing spaces guests will experience directly by the lake from summer 2026 onwards. It is precisely this combination of precision, craftsmanship and strong collaboration that makes the progress so noticeable at the moment.
