The energy has to be right – A conversation with electrician Erich Tisch

For around 30 years, Erich Tisch from Feld am See in Carinthia and his team of around 25 have been involved in renovation projects at Hotel Hochschober. It is always a major challenge, as the construction periods are very short. Peter Leeb, Karin Leeb’s father, already valued Erich Tisch for his precision and flexibility.

In conversation with Martin Klein, Erich Tisch explains what he appreciates about Hotel Hochschober. After all, he and his team do far more than simply install sockets and lights. They work with carefully selected pieces, such as a bedside lamp with a hand-forged base and a handcrafted lampshade. “There is so much human energy in these pieces – you can feel it,” says Erich Tisch.
