Giveaway Terms and Conditions valid from 19 April 2026

1. Organizer

Unless otherwise stated in the respective giveaway, the organizer is Hotel Hochschober GesmbH, Familie Leeb and Klein, 9565 Turracher Höhe 5, Austria, hereinafter referred to as “Hotel Hochschober” or the “Organizer”.

1.1 Prize
The prizes for this giveaway are:

• Episode 1 “The Idea”: 2 overnight stays for 2 persons at Hotel Hochschober, all inclusive, outside holiday periods
• Episode 2 “The Start”: 2 overnight stays for 2 persons at Hotel Hochschober, all inclusive, outside holiday periods
• Episode 3 “The Finale”: 2 overnight stays for 2 persons at Hotel Hochschober, all inclusive, outside holiday periods
• Episode 4 “The Premiere”: 2 overnight stays for 2 persons at Hotel Hochschober, all inclusive, outside holiday periods

1.2 Conditions
The prize cannot be redeemed during holiday periods.
Cash payment of the prize is not possible.
The redemption date of the prize will be arranged upon request through the reservations department of Hotel Hochschober.

1.3 Participation Period

• Participation period for Episode 1: Starts on 19 April 2026 and ends on 2 May 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
• Participation period for Episode 2: Starts on 3 May 2026 and ends on 16 May 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
• Participation period for Episode 3: Starts on 24 May 2026 and ends on 6 June 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
• Participation period for Episode 4:

 

2. Participation and Prize

2.1. By participating in the giveaway, the participant agrees to these provisions and terms and conditions.

2.2. The prize and the procedure of the giveaway, such as the participation period or type of prize, are determined by the respective giveaway and described therein.

2.3. The winner will be selected and contacted within five working days after the end of the respective participation period. If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within three working days, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected through a renewed selection process.

2.4. The participant agrees that, in the event of winning, their name, the winning entry (e.g., social media post) and the fact of winning, as well as any photographs of the winner, may be used and published by the Organizer for promotional purposes.

2.5. Eligible participants are:

2.5.1. Natural persons (= individuals, B2C) who register for the respective giveaway and meet the additional participation requirements. Eligible are persons residing in Austria who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation.

2.5.2. Legal entities (= companies, B2B) that register for the respective giveaway and meet the additional participation requirements. Hotel Hochschober is entitled to assume that participation has been approved by the company’s management.

2.6. Notification will be made by email or via the respective social media platform.

 

3. Cooperations

3.1. Hotel Hochschober may conduct giveaways in cooperation with partner companies, with Hotel Hochschober acting as the organizer. In this case, the partner company may also be a recipient of the participants’ personal data, which will be specified in the respective terms and conditions. The partner company is liable as an independent data controller.

3.2. Hotel Hochschober may promote giveaways organized by other entities without being the organizer itself. This circumstance will be separately indicated in the respective terms and conditions, and the participation conditions of the partner company shall apply. Hotel Hochschober is entitled to evaluate personal data with or without the involvement of the partner company.

 

4. Social Media

4.1. If a giveaway is offered via a social media platform, Hotel Hochschober is the organizer of the giveaway. There is no connection to the respective social media platform, and the giveaway is in no way sponsored, supported, or organized by it. The guidelines of the respective social media platform remain unaffected and additionally applicable. Participants may delete their social media contributions at any time.

4.2. If a winner can be identified through the information provided by participants within the social media platform, the platform remains the sole recipient of this data. Hotel Hochschober evaluates the data only on the social media platform and does not store it. The winner will be notified via the social media platform.

4.3. If the evaluation of the information provided by participants requires storage by Hotel Hochschober, the deletion periods specified in section 6 shall apply. The winner will be notified via the social media platform.

 

5. Exclusion from the Giveaway, Cancellation and Changes

5.1. In the event of a culpable breach of the participation conditions, the Organizer is entitled to exclude the participant with immediate effect.

5.2. Employees of the Organizer and other persons involved in the conception and implementation of the individual giveaways are excluded from participation.

5.3. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the giveaway without prior notice and with immediate effect for good cause. The giveaway may also be terminated due to force majeure or other legal reasons.

 

6. Data Security and Data Protection

6.1. Personal data will be processed by the Organizer in compliance with applicable data protection regulations, will not be published, and will be used exclusively for the execution of the giveaway and the delivery of the prize. Personal data will be stored only until the prize has been handed over. Thereafter, the personal data of non-winning participants will be deleted. The winner’s data will be retained for seven years.

6.2. Personal data processed for giveaways directed at natural persons may include:

6.2.1. Full name, participation in the giveaway, email address, answers to the giveaway question (if applicable), and, if applicable, social media channel and username;

6.2.2. In the case of winners, additionally the address for prize delivery. In the case of cooperations, the full name and, depending on the prize, the address or email address may be shared with partner companies.

6.3. For giveaways directed at legal entities:

6.3.1. The participating company registers using a non-personal email address (e.g., office@company.com). If a personal email address is provided, the company ensures that the necessary consent for data transfer has been obtained and that Hotel Hochschober may use the personal data for the purposes of the giveaway.

6.5. Your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), namely the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, or objection to processing, as well as any further questions regarding data protection, can be addressed using the form at urlaub@hochschober.com.

7. Miscellaneous

7.1. Giveaways cannot be combined with other promotions. The claim to the prize is non-transferable and does not entitle the winner to exchange or return previously purchased goods and/or services from Hotel Hochschober or the partner company. Cash payment, modification, or exchange of the prize is excluded.

7.2. The prize will generally be handed over at one of the Organizer’s locations, at the location of the giveaway, or sent by post or email, at the Organizer’s discretion.

7.3. Any operational, ancillary, repair, and/or other consequential costs arising from the prize or its acceptance or use shall be borne by the participant.

7.4. Legal recourse is excluded.

7.6. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by an appropriate regulation that most closely reflects the purpose of the invalid provision.

7.7. Austrian law shall apply.

7.8. The place of jurisdiction is Feldkirchen, Austria, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
