Safe hospitality at Hochschober -
1. „SAfE IS SAfE – Travel insurance
Please note that in the event of early departure or late arrival, or if the number of people has changed, 100% of the total price will be charged. If you have to cancel your holiday, the following conditions apply: Cancellation is free of charge up to four weeks before arrival. After that we charge 100% of the total price. If we resell your booked room, you will not incur any costs. If you want to be on the safe side, we recommend that you take out hotel cancellation insurance. This also includes insurance against any corona risks. We recommend taking out travel insurance. You can find out more on the homepage of European Travel Insurance.

2. ENTRY INTO AUSTRIA / EXIT FROM AUSTRIA

2.1 ENTRY INTO GERMANY COMING FROM AUSTRIA
At the reception we have structurally separated the check-in and check-out areas in order to keep a better distance and provide you with the best possible care. We are also now offering SmartCheck-In. With this tool you can announce your details online from home in advance and then easily check in via tablet when you arrive.
Each guest receives the information in advance personally with our anticipation e-mail.
4. VENTILATION DEVICES / FRESH AIR SUPPLY
The goal is to bring as much outside air into rooms as is reasonably possible. This air exchange takes place through natural ventilation (windows and doors) as well as through our mechanical ventilation systems (air conditioning systems - RLT systems).
Our mechanical ventilation systems are maintained and looked after by the Heizbösch company. The mechanical ventilation systems have all been checked and updated for Corona standards to reduce the virus load.
5. Hygiene in the room
The daily room cleaning was adapted to the new standards and developed together with our hygiene partner. Our chambermaids work with detergents containing disinfectants. The laundry is washed by a professional company according to the strict hygiene regulations.
You will also find a hygiene set with disinfectant and a guide to "Safe HochschoberN" in your room.
6. Wellness area & Spa
You can enjoy our range of massages and cosmetics as usual in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. We offer all treatments as usual. We would like to point out that one of the "3Gs" must be proven.
Our spacious wellness area with 5000 square meters offers a lot of space and freedom and can be enjoyed as usual.
7. Hygiene measures
Our cleaning and disinfection plan was coordinated on the basis of the current hygiene guidelines of the Austrian Hotel Association.
Disinfection racks are distributed in sensible places throughout the house (restaurant, reception, crystal spa, base camp, wellness area and, above all, elevators). The cleaning intervals are increased. All rooms are also regularly disinfected. All door handles are also disinfected on a regular basis. All cleaning agents contain disinfectants.

It is also possible to settle the bill the evening before by 10:00 p.m. or on the day of departure from 7:00 a.m. throughout the day. You can of course make contactless payments or we ask you to refrain from paying with cash at the moment.
9. The Hochschober Team
Around 90% of the employees in the Hochschober team have already been vaccinated or have recovered.
10. What does Hotel Hochschober do in the event of an infection in the hotel?
Should there be a suspected Covid 19 case in the hotel, we have worked out a detailed plan of action together with our companies doctor and the authorities in order to implement the right measures immediately.

The sick person and family members must stay in the room. We will contact our companies doctor immediately. In the event of suspicion, the doctor notifies the health authority. Professional disinfection of the room.
