Plan your holidays
Like everywhere else in our new everyday life, rules now also apply on holiday for the safety of all of us. These includes distance rules, the wearing of mouth-and-nose protection in certain areas, increased hygiene measures in front of and behind the scenes.
For restaurants the details have been fixed. For accommodation and leisure activities (sports, fitness, wellness) the specifications are in the making. At Hochschober we are in the process of integrating all measures into our processes. As soon as we know all the details and have coordinated everything, we will inform our guests by newsletter and via our social media channels.

Booking & Arrival
Until further notice we have adjusted the cancellation conditions to the current situation. Should the Covid-19 pandemic lead to local or personal travel restrictions (such as quarantine or ban on entering Austria), no cancellation fees will be charged.
In general we ask you to arrive healthy.

At the reception we have separated the check-in and check-out area to keep a better distance and to be able to serve you in the best possible way.
To shorten waiting times, we ask our guests to send us the information for the check-in by email before arrival. Each guest will receive the information personally in advance with our pre-stay-email.
Mouth and nose protector
We would be delighted if you would bring your own new holiday “accessories”. Of course we also have masks available for you at the reception.
Machines, dryers and irons are available in the washroom for washing masks you have brought with you.
Masks are not mandatory from June 15th on forward.
Nevertheless, in the sense of personal responsibility, we recommend wearing a mask where the minimum distance cannot be maintained.
We recommend wearing a mask throughout the buffet area.
Hygiene in the room
The daily room cleaning was adapted to the new standards and developed together with our hygiene partner. Our chambermaids work with detergents containing disinfectants. The laundry is washed by a professional company according to the strict hygiene regulations.
You will also find a hygiene set with disinfectant and a guide to "Safe HochschoberN" in your room.
Of course, we would like to continue to offer you the usual Hochschober-culinary delights of a combination of buffet and served dishes, in compliance with the new regulations.
Lunch will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in a new combination of prepared dishes and a new salad buffet. From now on we will accompany you to your beautiful table in our See-Stube at noon.
Wellness area & Spa
You can enjoy our massage & cosmetic services as usual. The wellness area is also open, subject to the minimum distance and the maximum number of persons allowed and the official regulations.
Programme of activities
The programme of activities takes place in small groups, in compliance with the minimum distance and the maximum number of people allowed, as well as the official requirements.
We are still waiting for detailed information on the form in which we may offer our childcare. As soon as we get the regulation for this, we will inform you immediately.
Our cleaning & disinfection plan was coordinated on the basis of the current hygiene guidelines of the Austrian Hotel Association.
We are also working together with the Best Alpine Wellness Hotels on a special hygiene certification according to Corona standards.
- Disinfection stands are distributed throughout the hotel at sensible locations (restaurant, reception, spa, Basislager, wellness area).
- The cleaning intervals are increased.
- All rooms are regularly additionally disinfected.
- All door handles are regularly additionally disinfected.
- All detergents contain disinfectants.
Of course you can pay contactlessly and we ask you to refrain from cash payments at the moment.
The Hochschober Team
The Hochschober team is committed to self-protection and to the observance of hygiene and distance standards and is continuously trained. Every employee keeps a daily health diary.

What does Hotel Hochschober do in the event of an infection in the hotel?
If there is a suspected case of COVID-19 in the hotel, we have worked out a detailed plan of action together with our medical adviser and the authorities in order to implement the right measures immediately.
- Please let us know if you are not feeling well or ill. Our reception team is trained and can help you professionally.
- The person who is ill must stay in the room with their family members.
- We will contact our doctor immediately.
- In case of suspicion, the doctor will inform the health authorities.
- Professional disinfection of the room.
