A spa hotel for all ages
The Hotel Hochschober is situated at 1,763 metres above sea level in the wonderful peace and quiet of the Turracher Höhe mountain pass in Austria, right on the border between the Austrian states of Carinthia and Styria. People of all ages come to be our guests on the bank of Lake Turracher See, surrounded by larch and pine forests and the Nock Berge National Park. You can visit us throughout the year, save for a few weeks in May that we use for improvement and alteration work.
Hosts with a passion
Since it opened in 1929, the spa Hotel Hochschober has been under the ownership of the Leeb family. Today, Karin Leeb and Martin Klein continue to run the hotel for the third generation: “Like our parents and grandparents before us, we have a passion for hosting. While deeply rooted in the Carinthia and Styria regions of Austria, we ourselves are dedicated travellers, always on the lookout for ideas to make your holiday with us a very special experience. In this, we don't follow short-lived fads, but are guided by issues close to our hearts. Excellent advice
The staff at our spa hotel see themselves as your travel guides. Together with all employees we develop movement and wellness, and creative and cultural programmes which we offer throughout the year. Our many employees and other experts who have worked closely with the Hochschober for years design and guide the various elements of the programmes. Participation in all programmes is included in the price of your holiday package. That's how it has always been at the Hochschober.

Guests value our friendly and attentive staff. To create this exceptional atmosphere we focus on our social responsibility towards them: from joint study tours to extensive further training programmes.
