Numerous mountain biking routes of various difficulties lead through the picturesque mountain forests and over the gentle Nockberge Mountains. They total around 1000 kilometres in the Nockberge area. We regularly offer guided mountain bike tours, for beginners and proficient bikers. Rental bikes are available at the Basislager equipment centre.
Pedelecs
Some of the routes around the mountains are rather challenging. Help comes in form of the new Pedelecs that are available to try at the Hochschober free of charge. Their electric motor assists in preserving your own energy. They are especially beneficial when cycling uphill, but also on lengthy straights. With their help you can, comfortably and enjoyably, conquer routes that you might not have found manageable on your own.
