Family holidays in Austria complete with baby service, "Kinder-Villa" nursery and "Jugend-Club" youth club
The Hotel Hochschober has always considered itself a family holiday hotel for guests of all ages to explore and enjoy Carinthia and Styria. We have been providing professional childcare and an extensive baby service for a number of years. These services allow you some time-out from being parents or grandparents during your holiday to Austria. Youngsters can meet up at the Jugend-Club youth club.
Children and teens: well-looked after
Our own experience as parents inspired us to extend the premises for childcare at the hotel and create an additional meeting space for young guests. In 2008 we opened a new structure connected to the main building which is home to the "Kinder-Villa" play park and childcare centre, and the Jugend-Club youth club.
Games, crafts, songs
Trained nursery teachers play, do crafts, sing and dance with the little ones every day from 8.30 to 13.30, and from 16.30 to 20.30 (21.00 during school holidays). During the summer holidays we also offer field trips to farms, forest walks, children's cooking classes, swimming and climbing lessons, and many more activities.
Climbing, building, cooking
The "Kids-Villa” centre offers among other things a climbing tower with ball pool; doll, cuddle and building zones; a children's kitchen with eating area; child-friendly toilets; a secure outdoor area with play equipment, a sand pavilion and a climbing wall.
The Jugend-Club youth club
The young folks' meeting place is the Jugend-Club youth club on the Villa's first floor. Here you will find a pool table, table football, pinball and dart machines, computer spaces with internet, a TV with lounge corner, PlayStations and a quiz game machine.
